What is the A380 effect and what impact does it have on cities’ economy?

In the following video published by Airbus we can learn about the positive economy improving effect of the Superjumbo aircraft. When the A380 is introduced to a new airport, the so-called A380 effect appears at that particular city with impact on business and tourism development.

In this video two cities Los Angeles and Birmingham share their experiences about the positive outcome of the A380 introduction.
