Close to the Austrian-Hungarian border there is a little village, called Enzersdorf, where one can find the most wonderful place for aviation enthusiasts, the Airliner-fleemarket.
On this weekend, however they have released terrible news. Although they cannot be grateful enough for their faitfhul customers, and supporters in the past few years, they are going to close their store down this september, as they do not wish to continue this business anymore.
They have just set up a huge sale to clear out all the goods they have, for which you can bid online on their website.
There are approximately 2300 items for sale including bags, cutlery, mugs, but we can find crew-rest containers from the Austrian Airlines’ wide-bodies, or the old wingtip of Austrian Boeing 767-300ER, OE-LAZ, before they have retrofitted it with the current winglets.
If you wish, of course, you can go there and check out the items yourself before bidding on the 9th and 10th of September in the village of Enzersdorf, under the address Industriestraße 15 between 9AM-4PM.
